Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist - Diabetes

You will act as a specialist resource and provide specialist advice in relation to care of people with diabetes and provide a range of educational and training programmes for the multidisciplinary team, patients, families and carers.

You will be required to work on site to support clinical services and to support the out of hours in patient rota.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious clinical nurse specialist in Diabetes to join our team.

You will have a major role in delivering excellent diabetes care both to inpatients and outpatients.You will be expected to autonomously, develop and lead on a specialism within diabetes and be an independent prescriber., We are looking to employ someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for diabetes care, to develop and drive forward future proof services.

Support will be given to the post holder to develop their skills, experience and competence in all spheres of diabetes nursing.
