An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised MDT Co Ordinator to join the Respiratory team at Birmingham Chest Clinic.

You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care by coordinating Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, ensuring timely and accurate patient pathways, and facilitating effective communication across clinical and administrative teams.

This is a key role within the service, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

If you are highly organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting high-quality patient care, we would welcome your application., To provide a comprehensive and full ranging administration/Multidisciplinary (MDT) Co-ordination for the TB service. Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient service.

The MDT Co-ordinator will be responsible for Tuberculosis clinics, booking of appointment, appointment rescheduling, outpatients and partial booking waiting lists, liaise with patients and colleagues internally and externally.

It is essential that the post holder exercises initiative and judgement using acquired skills and knowledge, maintaining confidentiality at all times. The post holder will provide an empathic and sensitive point of contact for service users.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day training and supervision of other administrators/Co-ordinators and clerical support workers
