Full Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and resilient Clinical pathway Administrator to support the delivery of the Ophthalmology situated at Barnet Hospital, General administrative duties for the department such as scanning of patient notes on to EPR, photocopying and distribution of mail and triaged referrals.
Ensure all patient demographics and contact details are kept up to date on Cerner.
When accessing patient records ensure computerised tracking systems are used appropriately.
Management of admin shared inbox and to ensure correspondence is distributed according to trusts guidelines.
Support the failsafe officer, ensuring the smooth and safe planning of patients pathway
Routinely process Blueteq funding forms received from the clinical teams cross -site and upload to medisight and Hi-cost portal (blueteq secure). Respond to generalqueries with support from the clinical teams and service managers to ensure accurate information is recorded in a timely manner.
Provide reasonable cross-cover for other Clinical Pathway Administrators to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times.
Management of Dictate and ensuring any correspondence is sent out to external organisations.
Review the actions and instructions generated from Dictate when requested e.g. ensuring that correspondence or test results are sent to a clinician in a differentspecialty or booking a follow-up.
This is a busy and a fast paced role within the Ophthalmology department The incoming post holders will need to have good attention to detail, be patient focus and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
The successful candidate will also be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification
