Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to be a key member of the Therapy Services team, working 37.5 hours a week. The post holder will be expected to provide high quality administrative and secretarial support to the department, Updating the ALLOCATE system with absence bank shifts, overtime etc, room bookings, scanning documentation into personnel files. Stock ordering uniform/equipment via SAGE system, updating study leave tracker, dealing with queries from staff, answering telephone calls.

Applicants should have proven administration and organisational skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to work as part of a team but also work on your own initiative, together with the ability to prioritise constantly changing workloads. An understanding of the need for discretion and diplomacy in a confidential setting are essential.

Applicants will be required to have a good level of education e.g. RSA II, NVQ 3 in admin or working towards NVQ 3, or equivalent. Also, office and receptionist experience, keyboard skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Oceano, and experience of dealing with patients and the public.
