Full Job Description

As a receptionist within the Emergency Department, you'll play a key part in ensuring the best possible care for all patients attending the department by undertaking a range of administrative and reception responsibilities that support patient care., To work as part of a team providing front-line high quality administrative & clerical service within the Department, delivering an excellent patient-focused service.

To respond to an ever changing, unpredictable and demanding workload within the resources available, prioritising their own workload.

An understanding of confidentiality is essential as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

To ensure accurate patient information is recorded in a timely manner to support the clinical flow of patients at the 'front door' of the Trust.

We are seeking confident individuals with excellent communication skills and a professional, tactful and diplomatic approach to work within this busy department. This is a demanding but interesting and varied role.
