Full Job Description
You will be supporting the department as required, including maintaining Debtor/ creditor ledger, raising sales invoices, process payment runs, performing bank reconciliations and month end management accounts preparation. Your ability to work methodically and logically will be key to your success in this role. Roles & responsibilities:
- Maintaining the Purchase Ledger, supplier statements and Purchase Order Management.
- Maintaining Debtor ledger, internal study activity logs and raising sales invoices
- Review and process patient payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month end management accounts and financial reports as required.
- Complete external returns - National Statistics, HMRC & Companies House.
- Supporting your manager with the day-to-day tasks required.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent IT knowledge, who possesses strong problem-solving and data analysis skills and with a high attention to detail. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values strong work ethic, cooperation, and understanding., Previous experience of working in an Accounts role. Excellent IT skills and high level of competence in Microsoft Excel. Motivated individual with initiative and strong desire to learn. Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently, both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

We are located in a purpose-built, 36-bed research facility on the site of Wythenshawe Hospital.
