The role will be responsible for supporting the commercial and contract management of our projects, from inception to final account. You will work closely with project teams and support functions, and build good relationships with our clients and supply chain. Your enthusiastic and professional approach will be key to successful project commercial outcomes.Why NuviaNuvia - a subsidiary of VINCI construction - is an international company that operates across highly regulated sectors including Civil Nuclear and has a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally.Nuvia is a performance-driven company that is committed to the development of its people within a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.Reports toSenior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial ManagerProfileKey AccountabilitiesProvide commercial support for the following aspects for projects that operate on a lump sum, remeasurable, target cost, or reimbursable basis:Project cash flow and budget Contractual terms & conditions (both client and supply chain) Interim applications in accordance with contract procedures Change management, in accordance with contract procedures Negotiation of contract amendments, including review of terms & conditions Subcontract account management, including review of interim applications, preparation of payment certificates, management and assessment of potential changes, and final accounting upon completion Preparation of internal cost / commercial reports, including accurate margin forecasting Compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulationsQualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or in related subject (candidates with appropriate experience may be considered)
• 2+ years of experience in quantity surveying in the engineering or construction industry
• Working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts (particularly Options C & E)
• Demonstrable experience of carrying out Quantity Surveying duties on engineering and/or construction projects
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build good relationships with project teams, clients, and the supply chain
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• PC literate in the Microsoft Office suite
