Full Job Description

Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is currently looking to recruit a permanent, full time (36.25 hours per week) Assistant Development Officer, based in Newcastle or Carlisle with a salary of £33,782 - £35,894 per annum.
If you are looking for an exciting new role, with onward carer development opportunities in the development of affordable housing, this role is for you.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and customer-focused individual with excellent administration and communication skills. The ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and able to coordinate information across teams to support the successful delivery of development schemes. The successful person will have strong attention to
detail, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and customers, and experience of handling enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner. You will be comfortable working with data, financial and project management systems, compiling reports and monitoring performance information, while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. A positive, adaptable and team-oriented approach is essential. Along with a dose of personal resilience, as the Development process is protracted and complicated.

CCHA owns and manages more than 7,400 homes across the North of England in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and North Lancashire. As an Association, we focus on the needs of the local communities we serve, tackling the housing crisis, improving services within our communities, and use our strength and efficiency to meet housing service needs. We are committed to providing excellent services to our customers.
