Full Job Description

Join us as an Assistant Accommodation Project Worker and help young people take steps toward independent living. You'll be part of a supportive team, working with a small group of residents to build life skills, confidence, and a sense of home. From helping with personalised support plans to creating a safe and welcoming environment, your role will be all about encouragement, guidance, and care.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner and a focus on delivering great face-to-face support.
+ A solid understanding of confidentiality and the importance of maintaining professional boundaries.
+ Committed to working in a respectful, inclusive, and non-judgemental way.
+ Confident and positive when engaging with young people, building trust and meaningful connections.
+ Able to stay calm and effective under pressure, even in challenging situations.
+ Comfortable using computers and digital tools in everyday tasks.
+ A positive team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to support others.

In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. If an offer of work is accepted, YMCA Trinity Group will facilitate these checks on behalf of our staff and volunteers via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Days and hours - 20 hours per week. This will include early and late shifts and the shifts are 5 hours each with 4 days per week. 1 weekend off in 3 over a 4 week rota. Specific days and hours will be discussed at interview.
What we offer
Annual salary £13,218.40
