Full Job Description

  • An experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist with a strong technical background?
  • Confident producing coordinated drawings and specifications using REVIT and BIM?
  • Comfortable working across sectors such as education, MOD/MOJ or blue light?

    • What will you be responsible for? As a Architectural Technician, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:
  • Producing high-quality concept and detailed drawings using CAD / REVIT
  • Coordinating design information across multidisciplinary teams
  • Supporting planning submissions and statutory approvals
  • Advising on environmental, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to design risk assessments and project delivery
  • Administering contracts (NEC / JCT) and undertaking site visits
  • Supporting bids and work-winning activity
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members

    Extensive architectural / technical experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction regulations and industry standards
  • Experience using REVIT, BIM and Autodesk products
  • Familiarity with NBS Create and contract administration (NEC / JCT)
  • Ability to coordinate design and work to deadlines
  • Experience in BIM coordination
  • Experience in sectors such as DfE, MOD, sustainability or conservation
