We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Placement and Commissioning Team on a 12 month fixed term contract, we would also consider secondment applications.This is a vital role providing high-quality, confidential business support to ensure the smooth operation of services that directly impact the lives of children and young people. schemeWhat will you be doing?In this role, you will provide timely, accurate, and confidential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Placement and Commissioning Team. You will be responsible for managing the team's communications and SharePoint systems, including monitoring the mailbox and coordinating timely responses to tasks. Regular duties will include attending team meetings and recording clear, accurate minutes, as well as liaising with social workers, external agencies, and other stakeholders to support clerical and administrative processes. You will also manage ad-hoc administrative tasks, demonstrating flexibility in response to the evolving needs of the service. Collaborating with colleagues across Children's Services, you will help ensure consistent support delivery while upholding health, safety, and safeguarding policies to protect the well-being of yourself and others. You should have:Essential qualifications:GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade C or above)Relevant professional qualification or equivalent business experienceEssential skills and experience:Strong IT skills and confidence using digital toolsExcellent numeracy, attention to detail, and analytical abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsExperience in minute-taking and managing administrative processesAbility to build strong working relationships across diverse stakeholder groupsUnderstanding of equal opportunities and safeguarding practicesDesirable experience:Background in local government or Children's ServicesWhen applying please ensure your supporting statement covers how you fulfil the essential
