At West Northamptonshire Council, we're committed to making our community a great place to live, work, and thrive and we know that starts with our people. We're looking for an organised and proactive Administration Assistant to support our Legal Services Childcare Team. You'll play an essential role in ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes, contributing to work that truly makes a difference in the lives of children and families across our area.
What will you be doing?
You'll provide responsive and detailed administrative support - everything from managing diaries and court bundles to preparing professional correspondence and liaising with stakeholders. You'll help coordinate meetings, monitor inboxes, and maintain filing systems, all while working closely with paralegals and lawyers to keep things running seamlessly.
You're someone who thrives in a busy environment, with a knack for staying organised and a commitment to high standards. You communicate clearly and tactfully, understand the importance of confidentiality, and pride yourself on being helpful and detail oriented.
Maybe you already know your way around legal admin or perhaps you're eager to learn, in either case, you're ready to be a valued member of a team making a real impact. You believe in the power of service - to support, to improve, and to empower others to THRIVE.
