Teacher of English (Job Share)
Fixed term from 24 August 2016 until 26 May 2017
Part time, 0.26 - 0.44 FTE, salary in range £21,901 up to £32,053 (plus PSP for eligible candidates)* *salaries are based on qualifications and experience and will be within the Sixth Form Colleges' Teachers' scale range
The post holder will teach on a range of Level 2 and Level 3 English courses which will be confirmed in light of the specialism they bring to the team. We would be pleased to hear from applicants with experience of teaching A level Literature, A level Language, A level Creative Writing, GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a discipline which contains a significant element of the study of English
• Minimum Level 5 teaching qualification (Diploma in Education and Training)
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent Level 2 awards)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
