About the role
We are currently recruiting for an Senior Sales Executive on our classified advertising team working with a range of media titles that include EDP, Evening News, Norfolk Magazine, LS24, Let’s Talk and our Advertiser & Times series, just some of the 13 strong local brands that you have the opportunity of promoting in this fantastic opening.
You will work as part of a team focusing on increasing advertising revenues in our print and digital titles, creating excellent relationships with new and existing customers as well as completing senior sales duties such as identifying sales trends, mentoring new staff and demonstrating a passion for securing new business.
You are an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with an attitude to achieve. You have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a telephone sales environment with a thorough understanding of the sales process and a professional, consultative approach.
You are confident and will enjoy building relationships and communicating the benefits of our market-leading advertising services, and will be used to anticipating and overcoming objections.
You are a charismatic and proactive self-starter who enjoys working on your own initiative, and are outgoing, personable and unwaveringly positive. You are also highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and while we’re not looking for techie geeks, you are a web user and know your Twitter from your Instagram.
Above all else, you are a trustworthy and hardworking individual, passionate about selling and someone who gets a real buzz from hunting for sales and achieving results, whilst thriving under the pressure of a target-driven environment.

Salary, commission and perks
