Part Time Tennis Development Coach (Ref:tdc002) 

Location: Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre 

Salary: £11.92 - £19.58 per hour (dependent on qualification and experience) 

LED Leisure Management Ltd (LED) is a Social Enterprise that provides a range of diverse cultural, sporting and physical activities throughout East Devon and South Somerset.  

We are now seeking a Part Time Tennis Development Coach to join our dynamic organisation.  The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of LTA Level 3 and hold a LTA Coach License.  Suitable applicants will have a minimum of two years tennis coaching experience and of developing and implementing tennis development programmes.  Working hours will an average of 16 hours per week to include evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

Job purpose 

Deliver quality tennis development tennis coaching. Average of 16 hours per week (including evenings and weekends) plus opportunity to earn additional pay through individual coaching. 

Essential attributes 

  • Minimum requirement of LTA Level 3 (level 4 desirable)

  • LTA Coach License

  • Experience in developing and implementing tennis development programmes

  • Experience in delivering large group coaching (including in primary schools)

  • Sound understanding of the LTA Tennis Programmes and initiatives

  • Excellent delivery of group coaching

  • Good tennis playing standard – County or LTA  rating division 5

  • Enjoy challenging situations and a systematic approach to problems

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to deliver and maintain exceptional levels of customer care     

  • Able to work as part of a team 

Desirable attributes       

  • LTA Level 4

  • Experience in delivering cardio tennis, tennis Xpress desirable.
