Crisis is currently recruiting for a part time Shop Supervisor to support the team in our Hackney shop. Shop from Crisis is a new venture and an opportunity to deliver positive social impact. Hackney is the first Shop from Crisis, having opened in October of this year, and provides an avenue for member involvement as well as providing a fundraising opportunity for Crisis.

As Shop Supervisor you will support the Shop Manager to achieve sales targets by maximising opportunities including effective leadership of volunteers, maintaining customer service, merchandising standards on the shop floor and communication of our brand. You will support members’ desire to work in the retail sector by providing day to day support and supervision. You will also deputise for the Shop Manager as and when required.

To be successful in your application as Shop Supervisor, you will have experience of working in retail and an interest in a career in the sector. With experience of working collaboratively with others, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a range of people including colleagues, volunteers and members of the local community.
