FUNDRAISING AMBASSADOR (2 POSTS)
Part time 22.5 hours per week
Starting Salary £20,635 per annum pro rata
This key role to the Individual Giving and Data Team is responsible for face to face contact with individuals who live and/or work within our catchment area. The role of Ambassador requires the individual to work flexible hours, evening and weekends as they promote the work of the hospice and encourage regular donations to help fund specialist end of life care for local people.
The role is specifically tasked to promote and raise awareness of Saint Francis Hospice through canvassing door to door in all weathers, attending venues, town shows and local organisations or events. This role is target driven with recruiting new people to support our work by direct debit through sponsoring a nurse or joining the hospice lottery as we seek to grow our regular giving programmes in support of the longer term end of life care provisions for local people.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing with a great rapport and enthusiasm for Saint Francis Hospice. They will be self-motivated, target driven with a tenacious but professional attitude.
This role is based out in our community and requires the individual to be mobile with access to their own transport.
