Hackney Learning Trust is a department within Hackney Council that is responsible for Hackney’s children’s centres, 27,000 pupils in 75 schools and early years and adult education. Our vision is to provide excellent education for every child, young person and adult learner.

Hackney Family Information Service provides information to the public on childcare, family services and services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

You will be responsible for keeping an area of the database up-to-date. So you will need to be systematic, have an eye for detail and have strong IT skills. You will also need to have excellent customer care skills to help enquirers identify what their information needs are, and how best to help them. Being able to explain things clearly and in plain English is essential.

We’re a friendly, flexible team that has won recognition
for our "can do" approach, and are looking for a strong team
player with initiative to join us.
