£17,200 - £18,500 pa
40 hpw but will consider a job share arrangement.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced pre-school or nursery Deputy Manager / Room Leader / SENCo to join our wonderful pre-school.
Claydon Pre-school is situated in a growing rural village located close to Ipswich and serves the communities of Claydon, Barham, Great Blakenham, Baylam and surrounding villages. The pre-school is a modern, purpose built setting which is well resourced and maintained. There is a large attractive outdoor area to the front and rear of the building and secure staff car parking is provided.
Claydon Pre-school is an Ofsted registered provision with a 'Good' rating (June, 2015) that provides early learning for children between 2 years to school entry age. We work closely with the adjacent Claydon Primary School to ensure a smooth transition. We are a committee run charity with exciting plans to extend our opening hours to fulfil the new 30 hour arrangements coming into place in the new academic year.
We are looking for a Deputy Childcare Operations Manager to support the new Childcare Operations Manager and oversee leadership in their absence. You will need the ability to help encourage, motivate and develop our team of 9 professional and committed staff. The role requires you to lead, through practise, our expectation for high levels of early year's education. You must be committed to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
* support the manager in the provision of high quality inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the setting.
* support the manager in establishing and sustaining a safe, welcoming, purposeful, stimulating and encouraging environment both indoors and outdoors
* in the absence of the manager, lead and manage staff on a day-to-day basis.
* support the manager in ensuring that all statutory, legal and setting obligations are followed and met.

You will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and 2 references. You must have proof of your eligibility to work in the UK.
