Clerk to The Governors
A retainer of £3,018 (inclusive of fringe
allowance and holiday allowance)

We are seeking to appoint a professional and
well-organised Clerk to the Governors who
will work effectively with the Chair of the Sir
John Lawes Governing Body, Head, Deputy
Heads and other governors. The Clerk will be
responsible for advising on constitutional
matters, duties and powers and will work
within the broad current legislative framework.
He/She will secure the continuity of the
Governing Body business and observe
confidentiality requirements. The Clerk will be
expected to attend all Governing Body
meetings, including sub-committee meetings
and will provide support for relevant
inspections and audits.
