The postholder will report to a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will work with students managing the provision of work related and careers education in line national guidance.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop the provision of careers in the school.  The successful candidate will ideally have had experience of working in an educational environment supporting careers education but this is not essential.  Most important is an ability to relate to and enthuse young people and to enable them to aim high and prepare themselves for the future.

The Frances Bardsley Academy is a thriving, oversubscribed and highly successful, comprehensive school for girls aged 11 – 18, with a specialism in the Visual Arts.  It is situated in beautiful grounds in the market town of Romford and was recently judged Good again by Ofsted in January 2016.

Further details and an application form are available from the school or can be found on the school’s website.  Please submit a copy of the school’s application form, together with a letter of application and supporting paperwork (all found on the website), to Julian Dutnall, Headteacher by 9am Friday 11th March 2016.

Click the red apply button below for link to website

Interviews will be held week commencing 14th March.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment. Full employment checks and an enhanced DBS disclosure are required for all posts.
