Job title: Temporary Assistant Relief Manager / Donated Stock Processor
Salary £14,454.42 - £17,719.44 per annum
37.5 hours per week to be worked 8.45am-4.45pm, 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday. This post will involve weekend working. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the hospice.
Fixed Term contact until 27th January 2017.
The Hospice has 12 retail outlets across North Devon; these outlets play an important role in raising funds to support the essential services we provide to the local community.
We are seeking a Temporary Assistant Relief Manager to provide shop cover in the absence of a manager while promoting awareness of the work of North Devon Hospice and maximising sales and profit across the retail arm. To assist in the smooth running of the retail warehouse and organise and stock control donated stock within the warehouse facility for distribution. Based predominantly at the "Pop up" shop and St Georges Rd Retail Warehouse, this role will support the retail division consisting of 10 permanent shops across the North Devon area together with any temporary trading opportunities.
Experience in a retail management/supervisory role is essential, along with effective communication, interpersonal and organisation skills. Experience of working within a charity retail environment or with volunteers would be advantageous but not essential.
