An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Chef to work at the private members club, The Norfolk Club, in the heart of Norwich.
Supporting the Head Chef, the apprentice will:
Learn and understand hospitality within this discerning environment
Learn and put into practice food preparation, cooking meals including meats, fish dishes, bread making, puddings
All meals prepared from scratch
Cleaning down kitchen
Undertake some customer service duties
Have an opportunity to learn all aspects of the business and potentially progress to management positions
Hours of work: 30 Hours per Week, working 5 days across a 6 day rota (Mon - Sat), shifts include 8.30am starts and 11pm finishes
Weekly wage: £105 per week
Qualifications required: GCSE grades A - C (or equivalents) in English and Maths are desirable.
Training provided by City College Norwich working towards a Level 2 in Professional Cookery
