Administrator / Accounts Clerk / Receptionist
Concept Windows & Conservatories, Hornchurch, Essex

Job type: Permanent Full-time
Salary level: £17k - £18k per annum
Location: Hornchurch, Essex
Holiday: 20 days paid holiday per annum
Hours: 5 day week - 9am to 5:00pm (30 minutes for lunch). Includes 7 Saturday’s per annum on a rota, with day off in lieu



Description: As a key member of a small team, you would be responsible for general administration and assisting in the smooth running of the office. The position involves various daily duties and, consequently, is interesting with the day passing quickly. Duties will include:

Administration

o Processing orders & keeping database up to date
o Maintaining customer records
o General administration duties

Accounts (experience in Sage preferred but not essential)
No knowledge of accounting is required. The task involves data entry and general admin and training will be given
o Post invoices and other data onto Sage
o Raising supplier cheques etc
o Banking

General receptionist duties
o Post
o Fielding phone calls etc
o Managing telephone and e-mail enquiries
o Secretarial
o Typing letters etc

Customer service

o Dealing with customers by phone and in person
o Booking service calls onto Outlook calendar

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

· Competent in literacy and numeracy
· good interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills
· Have proficient organisational skills and ability to multi-task
· Exercise initiative and be self motivated
· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Have a good telephone manner
· Smart and presentable dress attire
