Doughty's, in the heart of Norwich, provides 57 flats for older people to live independently, supported by a dedicated team of Carers and others. The Administrator plays a central role in enabling the organisation to run efficiently and effectively for the benefit of the residents.
This post will provide the successful candidate with a job full of interest, variety, a wide range of personal interaction and the satisfaction that they have made a difference. Doughty's is owned and run by Norwich Consolidated Charities, a historic endowed charity with assets of £33 million.
The Administrator should have high standards of literacy and numeracy and of organisational and IT skills as well as a thoughtful and caring attitude, enjoying contact with older people. They should have at least five years' relevant experience of providing a service, preferably to the public.
