Account Manager - Motoring, Norwich, Archant Norfolk

Archant is a community media company active in the fields of regional newspaper and magazine publishing, contract printing and internet communications and is the UK's largest independently owned regional media business.

We are currently recruiting for a Account Manager to work alongside our key motoring clients based at our Norwich office with frequent travel in and around Norfolk.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who has a proven track record in a business-to-business sales role. You will have the self-confidence to approach new business and the intelligence to develop a deep understanding of the portfolio of products. You will need to be a highly creative, dynamic and innovative individual who can successfully combine an understanding of what drives successful multi-platform advertising campaigns with a desire to learn about the motors industry; how it works and the key issues which affect it.

You will be used to managing your time effectively, thrive on self-motivation as well as being a great team player. Experience in media, publishing, magazine or newspaper sales would be an advantage.

Your negotiation skills, confidence, impressive sales pitches and closing techniques will mean that you will excel in a target-driven environment.

You will of course have a strong customer service and sales background, with excellent communication and IT skills and must have a full valid driving licence.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Media/advertising sales background
• A proven field sales/client-facing sales background
• A consultative sales approach
• Innovative and creative advertising ideas
• Strong diary management and organisational skills
• Ability to manage and develop existing accounts
• Drive and passion to win new business
• A full valid driving licence
• A thirst for achieving and exceeding targets
