Essex Life magazine celebrates the very best aspects of life in this fabulous county – all wrapped up in a beautiful monthly magazine. Each issue offers readers the chance to explore Essex with features on the county’s towns and villages plus interviews with the celebrities and most celebrated residents of Essex.
We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to sell print and digital advertising solutions on this popular publication to businesses throughout South Essex towns including Romford, Basildon, Billericay and Leigh on Sea.
As an Account Manager you will be working from home, based on or very close to patch. You will be mostly focused on managing existing advertising clients as well as targeting new and lapsed businesses advising them on the best ways to attract new customers and associating their luxury brand with our affluent readers.
You are a charismatic and proactive self-starter who enjoys working on your own initiative, and are outgoing, personable and unwaveringly positive. You are an individual who prides yourself on making a lasting impact across a range of varying clients. You are also highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and while we’re not looking for techie geeks, you are a web user and know your Twitter from your Instagram.
You are a motivated individual with experience working in a fast-paced face-to-face sales environment, ideally from an advertising/media industry with a thorough understanding of the sales process and a professional, consultative approach.
You are confident and enjoy building relationships and communicating the benefits of our market-leading advertising services, and will be used to anticipating and overcoming objections.
Above all else, you are a trustworthy and hardworking individual, passionate about selling and someone who gets a real buzz from hunting for sales and achieving results, whilst thriving under the pressure of a target-driven environment.
