Do you have a passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs? Are you experienced with working with children with Autism? This is a full time role to start ASAP The school is three form entries Mainstream Primary School in Dalston, Hackney with a supportive and encouraging Headteacher and a dedicated Special Educational Needs Department. They are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has previously worked with children with Special Educational Needs to join their new team! To be considered for this role you must: * Have experience previously working with children with SEN in particular children with Autism * Have the ability to deal with Challenging Behaviour in a positive manner * Be available for a full time role * Have an up to date DBS Certificate. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working specifically working one to one with a child with Autism and challenging behaviour. Familiarity working with children with ASD would be an advantage.
