Required to start: As soon as possible - dependant on notice period.
Southall School is a secondary special school in Dawley for pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs. Southall is currently oversubscribed with 211 pupils aged between 11 and 16 on roll. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and increasing numbers of pupils require specialist support for a range of needs including personal care, speech and language and physiotherapy.
We have an opportunity for someone to join our enthusiastic Senior Leadership Team as Deputy Headteacher. We require someone who is committed to providing first class education and care, who will continue to raise attainment and achievement, whilst also enabling our pupils to develop vital life skills and become independent, young people. You must be an outstanding practitioner, capable of inspiring staff and pupils alike.
We welcome applicants from all educational backgrounds (primary or secondary, specialist setting or mainstream). All we ask is that you are an outstanding, pupil-centered practitioner and leader with a passion for education and SEND.
