Norfolk Safeguarding Children Board (NSCB) is responsible for overseeing how agencies work together to safeguard and promote the well being of children and young people in the couniy.
We are looking for volunteer members from the local community to bring a fresh perspective to our work. Your appointment will be for a minimum of one year and maximum of three years, subject to annual review.
You do not have to have formal qualifications but you do need to be interested in social issues and committed to improving children’s welfare. You will need to have an understanding of safeguarding children or young people, an ability to communicate effectively within meetings and confidence to ask questions and challenge people in a constructive way.
