We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, dynamic, inspirational Vice Principal on his or her journey to Headship. The key skills for the post are leadership qualities which display energy, enthusiasm and genuine commitment to raising standards for all our students. A good understanding of data and how this can be used to raise standards and a deep understanding of how to develop excellent learning and teaching within the academy are essential. Experience of working at middle and senior level in preferably more than one 11-18 co-educational comprehensive school is a prerequisite for the post.


This post (the academy’s only Vice Principal) has become vacant as the result of the current postholder’s promotion to headship to a high school within Norfolk and offers a first class, challenging opportunity for someone with ambition, drive and determination to see that every child has an opportunity for success. A ‘can do’ attitude and genuine sense of humour are vital. The post holder must not only share the Governor’s vision for Wymondham High to become a centre of outstanding practice, but be prepared to

work unstintingly to ensure that this becomes a reality.
