Trainer Assessors - £11.80 - £14.14 per hour
City College Norwich are recruiting for Supply Assessors to cover the Norfolk and Suffolk area in the following industry disciplines:
•Marketing
•Sales
•Team Leading / Management
•Retail
•Warehousing
•Customer Service
•Creative and Digital Media
•Information Technology
•Dental Nursing
•Health and Social Care
•Support Teaching and Learning
This exciting position will allow you to draw on your industry experience to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
•Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing/tutoring them in their NVQ/QCF qualifications
•Maintaining documentation on learners’ progression
•Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners
•Delivering learner portfolios to agreed standards
•Working as part of a regional team
•Building and developing relationships with Employers
The role is open to qualified (D32/D33/A1 or TAQA) assessors, who have the relevant sector experience and qualifications. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and manage your own time.
Consideration will be given to those applicants who do not hold the necessary qualifications but have exceptional industry experience as well as a good understanding of Apprenticeships and Work Place Learning. A willingness to gain these qualifications is essential and training will be provided.
