As part of Gardline Geosurvey's ongoing growth and development we are currently looking to recruit a:

We require a highly motivated, pro-active and committed individual to join the Geophysical Engineering Department, based at our Head Office in Great Yarmouth whose purpose would be to support the Departmental Manager in all aspects of managing the team and to oversee the administration requirements of running the department.

The successful candidate will be required to lead the management of all staff within the Geophysical Engineering area of Gardline Geosurvey and act as a point of contact for all other departments within the business. They will be expected to organise and develop all of the training and recruitment requirements for the department and act as a liaison with external associates in order to achieve this. The role would also require occasional overseas travel.

The ideal candidate for this new and challenging role would preferably have experience of working in the Geophysical Engineering industry and be experienced in team leadership or management along with the ability to introduce and develop new internal processes that will bring value to the department. The successful candidate must also be familiar with working a busy operational environment.

The Trainee Assistant Technical Manager will have or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification and educated to degree level ideally in a numerate discipline. They must also be fluent in all Microsoft Office based packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook. An essential requirement for the role is that the successful candidate be an individual who is able to work with people at all levels and thrive in this capacity.
