Teaching Assistant - School - Term Time - Norwich
We are looking for a suitably qualified individual who will work for the family to support a pupil with their learning and care needs in the school and home schooling environment. The pupil has cerebral palsy, which presents as a complex physical disability with sensory and communication difficulties. Your role will be key in his educational development and ability to express himself. This role is 1 to 1 being guided by his teachers and involves specific needs like sensory and PMLD. Technology/ICT is a key part to his learning and communication and therefore an essential skill requirement.
Experience or qualifications in working with children who have SEN is essential. Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential. Training is available in all areas and you must be willing to learn, this in particular applies to first aid including medical procedures.
The successful candidate will be subject to an advanced CRB check. Paid for by the employer.
Salary 13k to 15k depending on experience. 36 hours per week.
