SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (Electronics)
c.£26,000 per annum • Ref: 2752 • Location: Ipswich
For most of us, when electronic equipment breaks down, it’s a headache. To you, it’s a challenge.
As part of a Divisional Maintenance Team you will be involved in trials and assessment of new equipment, therefore you will need an ability to adapt to new skills and a willingness to learn. There is certainly plenty to keep you busy, whilst managing your own time and priorities, you will need to respond quickly to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
With a time served qualification in electronics (preferably marine), your in-depth knowledge of electronic systems will be key and basic mechanical and electrical knowledge would be advantageous. You’ll also need a full valid driving licence in addition to the willingness and flexibility to work on-call on a regular basis.
Closing date: Sunday, 25th November 2012.
