AFFINITY TRUST is a national voluntary organisation providing support through innovative services to adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour within their own homes, providing a safe secure environment whilst maximising peoples opportunities within their community.

Due to recent growth the following vacancies have arisen:

Support Workers - Chatteris, March, Peterborough, Huntingdon, St Neots and Papworth Everard
Full-time/Part-time/Bank/Weekends
Salary - FTE starting at £14,176, increasing to £14,749 plus weekend enhancements
We are looking for Support Workers who will be working with individuals with learning disabilities and challenging needs, whilst enabling them to meet the positive challenges of living in the community.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and a positive and flexible attitude. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Full-time staff work a 37.5 hour week covering a shift pattern and contribute to a sleep-in pattern. Bank staff work flexible hours as required to cover relief shifts as needed within our services. Part-time hours vary between 15 to 30 hours per week.

Team Leader (2 Full-time posts available, 37.5 hrs per week) Wimblington
Salary £17,980 plus weekend enhancements.
Responsibilities: ensuring appropriate care and support is being delivered, ensuring individual’s needs and choices are met; liaising with Care Managers and other professionals, implementing Affinity Trust’s policies and procedures, assisting the Support Manager with supervision and performance review of the staff teams, contributing to on-call support.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2/3 or Management equivalent, or be willing to work towards these qualifications; experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and a full UK driving licence.
