Service Manager - Hertfordshire Domiciliary Care
£28,500 • Full-time (37.5 hours)
This is not a 9 - 5 job. You will be committed to the principles of supporting people effectively and appropriately in their own homes, leading and developing a team of staff working in both supported living and outreach settings to ensure each person we support receives the best possible service.
Essentially you will have experience working in supported living settings and of managing multi site teams, together with a demonstrable track record of supporting people with learning disabilities.
For this post it goes without saying that you will have full working knowledge of the ‘essential Standards of Quality and Safety’, REACH Standards and Supporting People’s Quality Assessment Framework. Furthermore, you will be able to work with individuals to assess their needs, and liaise confidently and effectively with local authorities to develop the business and manage change.
You will already be in a senior supervisory position and possess excellent organisational, administrative and people management skills. Ideally, you will also hold a Registered Managers Award plus an NVQ4/SVQ4 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management, or possess an NVQ3/SVQ3 in Health & Social Care and be eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care. Lastly, due to the nature of this post, a full UK driving licence is essential.
