Gardline Geosurvey Ltd is part of the Gardline Marine Sciences Group of Companies and is the largest independently owned survey group in the world providing the oil and gas sector with a comprehensive set of integrated offshore survey services for more than forty years. As part of Gardline Geosurvey's ongoing growth and development we are currently looking to recruit a:

SENIOR PROJECT SURVEYOR
Based within the Surveying Department of Gardline Geosurvey the Senior Project Surveyor's main purpose will be to undertake office based tasks, support vessel operations and undertake land surveying tasks at vessel dry docks and mobilisations.

The main tasks of the role will include overseeing the training of Project Surveyors and supervision of secondments, carrying out quality control of software configurations and setups, processing GNSS data and overseeing production of GIS maps and products.

The successful candidate will also be expected to update the Surveying Department's reference documents, carry out the development and maintenance of GIS technology within the department, write and compile reports and provide support to field staff and to other departments.

Due to the nature of the survey industry the successful candidate must be prepared to travel at short notice to vessels and mobilisation ports within the UK and worldwide therefore a full, clean driving licence is essential as is the ability to drive on international roads.

The ideal candidate will have established experience in hydrographic surveying and be educated to BSc level or equivalent. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. They must be able to work unsupervised and under pressure and will need to be flexible in their approach to work as well as being an effective team player.
