Qualified Teachers’ Pay Scale £8,636 to £14,073 per annum + SEN allowance
Fixed term contract for the duration of named student’s attendance
Wayland Academy is a member of the ‘Transforming Education in Norfolk’ Trust and is located in the market town of Watton in the Breckland district of Norfolk. The Academy is an inclusive rural comprehensive at the forefront of collaborative partnerships with our largest Local Authority Cluster Junior School and with other Academies and Tertiary College in the TEN Federation.
We are seeking a qualified teacher for 2 days a week to work with a student on the Special Needs Register.
The key aspects of the role will be to teach the student the basics in English,Maths & communication skills and planning work that he will be able to access in mainstream classes. You will need to effectively liaise with mainstream subject teachers and the full-time Learning Support Assistants who share the role of supporting the named student.
Applicants should have recent experience working with children with ASD.
