RGE Engineering is a leading manufacturer in the plastic injection moulding field, specialising in supplying components and assemblies to the domestic appliance and furniture trade. We currently have the following positions at our premises in WHITTLESEY and ALCONBURY.
QUALITY MANAGER (CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT) - Whittlesey: This role will suit a hands-on and enthusiastic Quality professional with a proven track record of successful quality engineering gained within an injection moulding or manufacturing environment. Applicants should have a thorough understanding managing a Quality Department to ISO 9001 standards in order to sustain and promote the Company's competitiveness. To be successful in this position, candidates should hold a technical or engineering background gained in a plastics injection moulding environment and have experience of implementing SMED, 5S and lean manufacturing techniques and have experience in a similar role with well-developed communication and management skills and an ability to develop and lead the Quality team to support the business needs. This position will suit a confident, positive and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills and an appetite to seek improvement and implement change in a fast paced environment.
