AJN Steelstock Limited
We are a medium sized steel stock holder based near Newmarket. We are currently selling around 50,000 tons of steel per annum, of which around 30,000 tons is shotblasted, painted, cut to size and drilled. We deliver throughout East Anglia. Due to expansion we have the following vacancies:
Required: Plasma / Profile Machine Operator
You will be operating one of our plasma/profiling machines, running programs/nests created in the office. Experience of operating CNC machinery is essential. You will be expected to ensure the machine is performing accurately and perform routine maintenance etc working to our H & S policies/safe systems of work. A counterbalance forklift/combilift licence would be advantageous, although full training will be given.
Working hours will be 15.00 - 01:30 (Monday to Thursday) with overtime as required. In all instances salary is negotiable, subject to experience/qualifications.
