Java Web Developer & Oracle Database Developer
Thetford, Norfolk (£22,140 - £24,600 + pension)
The British Trust for Ornithology is seeking applications for two Software Developers to assist in the collection, storage and reporting of wildlife survey data. This is an exciting area for the BTO and applicants should have experience in developing database driven Java web applications, or of developing SQL and PL/SQL procedures and database administration for Oracle.
Both positions are for two-years initially. A background in either computing or ecology is desirable; specialist training may be provided. Ornithologists with relevant IT skills would find this work rewarding.
Closing date for receipt of applications is 1pm Friday 25 January 2013.
