Archant Herts and Cambs, publishers of the Comet, Herts Advertiser, Welwyn Hatfield Times, Royston Crow, Saffron Walden Reporter, Dunmow Broadcast and Recorder, Hunts Post, Ely Standard, Cambs Times, Wisbech Standard and their associated websites are seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant.
The Marketing Assistant will help to provide ongoing support to the commercial teams ensuring they are equipped with the latest research and marketing information and techniques to help them achieve their advertising revenues.
Reporting to the Archant Anglia Head of Marketing and working closely with colleagues they will work closely with the commercial teams to fulfil their role
This will include creating sales support presentations (print and digital), creation and maintenance of all media packs - paper and online, ensuring that all research information, product and market information is updated and distributed on an ongoing basis, maintaining industry databases and other marketing functions.
The role requires excellent organisation and communication skills, and the ability to manage several projects at any one time. It needs an innovative and creative approach to sales and marketing campaigns.
We will be looking for someone who can communicate with colleagues and customers, has experience or interest in the media, excellent customer service, first class time management skills and the ability to be flexible.
