Events & External Brand Manager

Archant Anglia, part of the Archant community media group, is looking for a high-calibre individual to manage its highly-respected portfolio of outside events and external brand presence.

Protecting and enhancing the well-deserved reputation our newspaper, magazine and digital brands have built-up within the communities they serve is a key priority for our business.

This exciting, newly-created, senior role reports directly to the Publishing Director and will involve the successful candidate in setting up, managing and delivering a large number of events, including the prestigious Business Awards, Food Awards and Tourism Awards across East Anglia.

Working with internal editorial, advertising and marketing teams, third-party production companies, venues and sponsors the events & external brand manager will be solely responsible for budgeting for and delivering events to agreed targets.

Superb project management skills and a strong track-record in managing B2B and, or B2C events will be essential, as is the ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure. The role will require someone who can demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and relationship-building skills at all levels. The ability and willingness to travel and work unsocial hours is an essential requirement.

Only someone with all the above skills who is prepared to be very hands-on will thrive in this dynamic role.
