Events Executive
£26,000 pa (One year FTC – Maternity cover)
Responsible for the organisation of allocated events, you will liaise closely with speakers, authors, sponsors, venues, suppliers, the Marketing function and Event Producers.
Supervising a team working on each event, you will personally support the organising committees and exhibition working groups, manage the paper submissions process, formulate accurate budgets and handle all appropriate record-keeping.
Experienced in all aspects of event organisation, including identifying promotional opportunities, your expertise in administration, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines is matched by excellent communication and customer-service skills, strong business and financial sense, and a good eye for potential improvements. Sound knowledge of Word, Access, Excel and Outlook is needed, as is the flexibility to travel with overnight stays. Training in events H&S would be advantageous.
