An opportunity has arisen for a Democratic Services Officer. If you have experience in the administration of meetings and in taking minutes, then this could be the job for you.
You will be working as part of a team but achieving individual goals. Ideally you should have experience in local government or other public administrations. You will need to have an understanding of the principles and procedures of meetings, together with excellent organisational and administrative skills, IT literacy and good written English skills. The post-holder will have specific responsibility for supporting the Council’s Scrutiny Committee and its Audit and Governance Committee,
along with other Committees and Task Groups as required. This post will be based at the Council Offices at Melton Hill, Woodbridge.
A valid driving licence and the ability to work some evenings are essential.
