ASSISTANT MANAGER/STORE TRAINER
This is a full time post offering a challenging and rewarding position for someone who can multi task, thrives on variety and enjoys working under pressure in a diverse and interesting capacity.
Primarily the post holder will provide a strong support to management and assist in the general day to day running of the department store, especially in the absence of the Store Manager.
In conjunction with the above the successful applicant will be responsible for the induction and training of new recruits; management of the day's off rota and, when necessary, provide clerical and administrative assistance to the personnel function.
Applicants must have excellent people skills and be computer literate with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Although no tan absolute essential, a retail back ground would be a distinct advantage for this role.
The post will involve weekend work and Bank Holiday cover, worked on a shared basis with members of the management team.
