ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
PART TIME (22.5 HOURS PER WEEK)
An Assistant Management Accountant is sought to join a small management accounting team within the Finance Department at Rothamsted Research. In this challenging role you will be the primary finance contact for Science Department heads, and responsible for managing the staff allocations module. The successful applicant will also be required to liaise with departmental and ISPG heads on a monthly basis and manage income pipeline reporting, Full Economic Costing services usage calculations and budget data.
Ideally the successful candidate will be a part-qualified accountant and be flexible in their approach to work. The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), the ability to communicate well at all levels and previous experience of working successfully within a team environment.
This is a permanent appointment within Band D which attracts a full time starting salary in the region of £28,110 to £31,677 per annum (pro rata £17,093 to £19,263 per annum). Hours of work can be flexible by agreement.
