A leading International Engineering company in Manchester are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work within a design team.
The main function of the role will be to work on a variety of projects ranging from designing small to large bespoke machinery. This will include using 3D CAD, conceptual design work, managing projects and acting as a technical specialist both internally and externally in relation to mechanical design issues.
In order to be considered for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer candidates will need to have strong Mechanical Design experience within automation, machinery, conveyer systems, robotics or similar products. Candidates will also need to have good 3D CAD skills, ideally Solidworks however other CAD packages such as Inventor or Solid Edge will be considered
The position of a Mechanical Design Engineer comes with a competitive salary the role comes with a 12 pm finish on a Friday, a Pension Scheme, Paid Overtime and 4 X Salary Life Assurance.
The position for a Mechanical Design Engineer is based in Manchester and is commutable from Warrington, Bolton, Wigan, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport and other locations across Lancashire and Cheshire.
