Description: Electronic Control Systems Engineer - Andover - £25,000-£35,000 - Permanent
My client is a leading engineering organisation and are currently recruiting for two Electronic Control Systems Engineers to join their team in Andover on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for programming PIC microcontrollers and other microprocessors and then testing the programs. You will also writing PLC code to interface products with facility systems and produce relevant documentation to support this. There may be a requirement for you to travel overseas on occasion for testing purposes.
For the position of Electronic Control Systems Engineer you should have industry experience of designing, developing and testing electronic control systems including PCB design, PIC and microcontroller programming preferably in C and VB along with the ability to test the embedded control software to ensure functionality.
The ideal candidate for the position of Electronic Control Systems Engineer will be educated to HND/degree level or equivalent in electronic engineering or similar with industry experience in the development of complex electronic control systems encompassing PICs, microcontrollers and PLCs.
